....Happy B-day....hopefully he sleeps his eternal sleep under the ground...
I will write something short to mark this important date, for me as a fan of the genius of Bram Stoker. You will find more pictures with specific resources, click on the links, they will lead you to oceans of interesting information.
...His spirit gained the ability to creep us while reading the most famous book he wrote "Dracula", whose name is perhaps even more popular to the average reader, than the name of Bram Stoker, pity.
Тhe vampires reached the top of the commercialism in the last years, and hopefully most of the fans of the modern vampire fiction are already enlightened who Bram Stoker is ^^ [without any bad feeling].
The novel was published for a first time by
Archibald Constable and Company (UK)
On 26th of May 1897.
On 26th of May 1897.
He gave birth to characters which become inspiration to a large number of writers, artists, film creators, subcultures and lifestyles. To me personally the world he creates is full with macabre, gloomy and beautiful creatures and events, which make my flesh creep in a pleasant Gothic way...Soon after he passed away the first Vampire film was produced, followed by unbelievable interest in the mysterious Gothic atmosphere through the years..
